The American Red Cross

Welcome! The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies nearly half of the nation's blood; teaches lifesaving skills; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families.

The Red Cross is a charitable organization — not a government agency — and depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform its mission. Thank you for your support!

Partners with Red Cross to Help Our Military

Each week a volunteer picks up the coffee donated by Borders customers and distributes them to military members, their families, and veterans locally. One of the volunteers said: "You should see the faces when they see us walk in with these bags of ground coffee and bags of coffee beans, they are truly humbled. Thank you Borders!"

Future coffee distribution plans will be publicized at the Military and Family Resource Center, located next to the Army National Guard Billeting Office (near Movie Theater), 5219 Turpentine Road. Come check it out!
