Disaster Services Client Assistance Responding to disasters and meeting the needs of those impacted by events such as fires, storms, floods, and hurricanes is the first priority at the American Red Cross. If you have been affected by disaster, we will work with you to help determine how we can best help you and your family with resources in the community. The Red Cross may provide –
• A safe place to stay
• Clothing
• Meals
• Essential medications or the means to obtain them
• Crisis counseling
