Aquatic Training
Since 1914, the American Red Cross has proudly trained lifeguards to protect the nation's families at swimming pools, waterparks, recreation centers, camps and other aquatic facilities. The American Red Cross is the leading lifeguard training organization in the country, training approximately 190,000 lifeguards annually over the last few years. The current American Red Cross Lifeguarding Program continues a tradition for the highest standards in training and the most current techniques and methods in lifeguarding.
